AR badges

Have you ever wanted something just a little spiffier to show off your ActiveRain affiliation?

Something a little fresher? a little more modern? a bit more stylish than what ActiveRain has offered in the past? (no offense meant to AR!).

We did too, so we asked our web guy to come up with some ideas for graphics we can use on websites and blogsites. Linked In, konnects, Facebook, naymz, heck almost eveyone has a badge to use for a profile. We wanted something similar for our ActiveRain profile. Here's what he came up with so far.

If you want to use these graphics to show off your ActiveRain activities, you are welcome to use them. They will be uploaded as individual graphics files, courtesy of the guys at SoundBiteBlog.com, by Monday. We'll post the url's to them here. You can either link directly to the originals on SoundBiteBlog, or copy them to your computer for your own use.

All the graphics are in png format with transparent backgrounds.

If you would like to use these for you website or blogsite, please leave a comment here. Hopefully, one of the ActiveRain head honchos will make a visit and give the official approval!

Awesome! Thanks for doing this. I like the look and will be looking for a link.

I'm assuming since SoundBite will be hosting them this is okay with AR? I know changing a company's logo for your own use is generally not accepted practice?

Matt, as it says in the post, we're hoping for an AR honcho to wave a wand of blessing over this. Considering that there are quite a few variations of the ActiveRain logo already in existence, I don't expect that we are causing any trouble.

If it becomes a problem, we'll deal with it gracefully. This is meant as a way to give back a little to the community. We've acquired some very good clients through this network.

Wonderfully creative. I for one like them and hope that AR approves them for use on ActiveRain sites. I was tempted to use one but I will wait for the OK to do so. But that doesn't minimize the wonderful effort in design that you have brought forward. I hope the front office will approve of the effort and allow them to be used.

Thanks for you for taking the time to comment on this subject in the Active Rain network.  AR is the new "cyber backbone" of the industry, and with it's uplink to Localism.com it is transforming the real estate marketplace. Agents who don't see which way the cyberwind is blowing are going to find themselves at a considerable disadvantage inside of three to five years.

I think I'd rather have #1 Agent in King County than 200,000 points or Featured Author.  Can you make me one of those?  I'd put it on my "other" blog in the sidebar as link over.

Or for a subscribe button on my posts in AR maybe "Subscribe to the #1 Agent in WA"

Points and Authors don't mean much to the general public, but #1 Agent would, I think.  What do you think?

This is pretty neat. I need one of these buttons on my outside Active Rain blogs and other blogs as well. Congratulations on being one of Active Rain top newcomers of 2008. Have a great weekend. Great post.
