Smiles are a wonderful commodity...they cost you nothing but the return you get from giving one away is immeasurable. And, if you are 
the lucky recipient of one, then you know the joy it brought to you.
Smiling doesn’t just make the recipient happy either. When you smile, you actually are helping out your brain. The serotonin released has a similar effect to the antidepressants prescribed for many these days.
You know yourself that when you smile, your mood is lifted. It’s a cycle...you smile at someone which makes them smile back at you which makes you smile even more.
And then the person you shared a smile with will smile at someone else who then will pass that same smile around wherever they go.
A smile costs you absolutely nothing.
Sometimes, though, it’s like gold to the one receiving it.
What you can do…
Give your smile freely because you’ll never know who needs it.
If you see someone missing a smile, share yours.
Call or text someone who may need some cheering up.
Smile and open the door for someone.
