Everywhere I go people ask me so what is Exit, and how did you come up with the name?
Exit Realty was the brain child of Steve Morris, Founder and CEO. In 1996 Steve Morris, an industry broker with over 26 years of experience developed the concept that he learned from his experience in the insurance industry. His unique idea was pay single level residuals to agents who sponsor other agents into the company. This benefit would provide an added income to the agent in the amount of 10% of everything the recruit makes as long as both the sponsor and recruit remain with Exit. When the sponsoring agent retires the residuals continue in the amount of 7% and this would carry over to a 5% residual payable to the beneficiary of the sponsoring agent. This residual is paid from Exit Corporate and does not affect the recruts or brokers commisssion.
Speaking of commission- Exit agents get 70% commission on their first $100,000, after that the agents split is 90%.

The name was chosen by Steve Morris because- the "exit" sign is the most highly visable word in North America. I always tell people that most places of employment have an exit sign in their workplace. Every highway has exit ramps- Exit- Safe Passage. It makes sense to me.
To Date over 1,309 Franchises have been sold and 47,352 agents recruited. In the past week we have 4 new agents recruited into our office.
So, to answer the question- Exit Realty is the fastest growing Real Estate Company in North America, and I did not name it. I work for Exit because it is a company that values it's agents, supports Habitat For Humanity and provides the best marketing tools and education in the industry today.
