Fright Night Zumba Halloween Party, Northridge Rec Center 10.25

There has always been the endless debate about whether Halloween should be on the preceding weekend or the weekend after, if the holiday itself falls on an unfortunate day like Thursday. If you’ve had your Halloween events in mind this month, you may see that a lot of them are colliding on the weekend of 10/25. You may have guessed it already, but Halloween is on a Thursday this year. Celebrating on the actual night is never good unless you have a different type of schedule or there is a possibility you do not have work the next day. Where do you fall on either side of this divide? IS celebrating Halloween on the first weekend after Nov 1 and Nov 2 too far? Is Halloween officially over once the calendar strikes November? What about doing it the preceding weekend which is Oct 25 this year? If you are in the camp where you celebrate both weekends, more power to you. If you are picking the Oct 25 date, you will be happy to know that Northridge Rec Center will be having a Fright Night Zumba Halloween Party. October 10/25 from 6:30 to 8:00pm the one-hour Zumba class is followed by a few choices select Halloween themed snacks and non-alcoholic beverages. This is a good way to have a little fun after you let off a little steam. If you have bought tickets to Zumba classes before, you know the drill. Head to any rec center or the HRCA website to get online tickets in advance or to get more information on this event.
