Thanksgiving thoughts while in Canada this year

I'm on an extended trip to Canada which brings me to Thanksgiving which is just around the corner.  It feels like winter is also around the corner up here with the maple leaves falling to the ground and a chill at night.  There's already snow in some parts!

I'm missing my warm Maui island and thinking back to harvest from my garden in other times.  They say it's still hot there and I should be thankful to be somewhere cool.  I guess the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence!

Either way, I'm thankful for food on the table, a warm home, family and friends.

Georgie Hunter R(S) 58089 - I think the hardest part about living long distance from family is when there is a family emergency. I hope everything is as well as can be expected and that you and your family are doing well. All of you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for those beautiful fall Maple Leaves! Mother Nature always selects the best and boldest colors in Fall! I'll bet the air is cool and crisp in Canada. That box of healthy fruit, vegetables, and eggs is mighty pretty! May you all stay healthy and well.
