Alpharetta Georgia is a great place to live in North Fulton county. The city name Alpharetta is also believed to have been derived from the first letter of the Greek alphabet. Alpharetta is located close to Georgia 400 which runs north to south to Atlanta. Also North Point Mall is near by, and Lake Lanier is just north of the city. The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center is located in Alpharetta ga and draws alot of people yearly to them. This 46-acre forest has an abundance of animal life and a scenic creek. There are many miles of walking trails, pretty picnic areas and historic sites for visitors to enjoy. If you are thinking of purchasing ;)
