Meet the SpartansOK, so I get that this is suppose to be a comedy. After seeing both Epic Movie and Date Movie and knowing that the same 2 writers, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, where the ones writing this movie, I figured it would be as good. Boy, was I wrong. I struggled through the entire movie. I had a few laughs along the way, but nothing to write home about. I have to say that I believe that I will never watch this movie again.

From the hunchback Paris Hilton to Lindsay Lohan to Baby Shrek, the parodies continue but really seem to lack the luster that they had in the two predecessors that came before it.

I really have to warn you that if this is the movie that you just have to buy to go with your collections, then wait till it is in the mark down bin. Until then you can catch it on Showtime, HBO, The Movie Channel, Cinemax, Encore, or Starz on DirecTV or your local cable provider (Time Warner, Comcast, Cox Cable Communications just to name a few).

Comedy that tried way too hard and missed the mark every time! Do yourself a favor and rent a classic like Airplane, Vacation, or Scary Movie instead!

Danny ~ Thanks for confirming what I was thinking.  Now, I have to make sure my husband doesn't pick it up!

Kathy, if he does, threaten not to make dinner until he returns it.

Danny ~ That won't work - I hardly cook as it is, and when I do, well, let's just say he might never return it!

Kathy, that is not a good option. OK, well you can tell him that if he takes it back you will take him to his favorite dining experience.

Hi Danny. Thanks for confirming what I thought all along! I've passed this flick at the video store a few dozen times... I'm glad I left it there.
