Just looking for any comments from appraisers in the Portland area that may be experiencing a lack of work.  What are the different things you are doing to find work?  ex.  Different services, exploring new niche or just gathering statistics for all the areas you cover to better you current data base and updaing your files.

Adam,

Keep trying to connect.  Go to your local caravans, call on your old clients, try almost anything you have to keep connected with agents and loan offices.  Remember your market is what you make it.  Keep up the work.

Focus on the market and price ranges that are selling.  Then look above that price range because that could be the market where the sellers are headed once their current home sells.  Moving up in a softer market is one of the best ways to build equity in the future.  Happy Selling!
