Being thankful for Living
Having been in the ups and downs of the Honolulu Real Estate Business, I am so thankful for all the customers and clients that have passed before us. My wife, Vanessa is a God Send! She has been by my side and been a helpful blessing for the past 39 years!
We remark that no day is the same.
There is always something new that we had not experienced before. There are always surprises. One day I go to a client’s apartment that we had listed. It was vacant. When I went in with a buyer, the HOT WATER HEATER was missing. The owner told me that he sold it to get some cash he needed! He said “the buyer can buy a NEW one on their own!” On another occasion, we had listed 70 Acres of Papaya Trees on the Big Island of Hawaii. The buyer came to our office with a brown paper sack full of money. We immediately went to the bank and converted it to a cashier’s check for escrow to take care of. Recently, that land was over-run by lava.
We have seen kids grow into adult hood and be able to purchase their homes and even investments. We have been with clients who lived to 100 and almost 101! Over the years, they have shared a lot of history in the growth of Hawaii that is not in newspapers, magazines or books.
