There are 2 floor plans available with 4 homes, 2 of each model, currently available:

Plan 2 with 2566 +/- SF , 3 bedrooms (dual masters), 3 ½ baths, a bonus room, and attached 2-car garage. Priced at $1,218,850 per the MLS. Plan 2 is a 3-level model.
Per the builder about half of the homes will have elevators.
Buyers should be aware these are production homes. This means all finishes, flooring, appliances and more have been selected by the builder – there are two different designs – so buyers do not get to select these items. This is different than what you find in many new home communities.
According to the MLS the HOA fees at this time are $501 per month, and there are no Mello Roos fees. This is great news for buyers since Mello Roos are common in new home communities!!
RENTAL OPPORTUNITIES
The other good news for those interested in a vacation property in Carlsbad they can also rent, or someone wanting an investment property near the beach, is that these homes can be vacation rented through, say, Airbnb – there is no minimum rental period as one normally finds in HOA communities; many HOAs restrict rentals to no less than 30 days, or even 6 months!

You are also close to the 5 and 78 freeways, as well as other major roads like El Camino Real, for easy commuting. The commuter rail train and Amtrak are nearby in Carlsbad Village.
