SHOP SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY NOV 30, 2019
SATURDAY NOVEMBER 30, 2019 is shop small businesses Saturday. This is the day the focus is on small businesses. It is hoped that on this Saturday if you make it a point to stop into a small shop you may just find a reason to return! So if you need something on this day go to your small local store for it.
Small businesses need the support of the locals to stay in business. I use my local drug store, Ft Thomas Drugs, vs the big stores that most insurance companies promote. I rarely have to wait, I have a friendly face to welcome me, and they take the time to tell me about what I'm getting. Ft Thomas Drugs has a lot of cards that don't cost an arm and a leg. They have several Melissa and Doug items for kids and bunches of candy. You'll find pain meds, bandages, about anything you need, just not 14 different brands of the same thing. I highly recommend them.
Being one of the few actual mortgage brokers in the area I truly appreciate when someone does business with me because I am local and I do business in a personal way, like most small businesses. I'm grateful for everyone who chooses me as opposed to a large bank. I can do business electronically, I do free regular home buyer classes, I can sit down with folks who want a face to face meeting, I can arrange a meeting outside of regular business hours. I can do this because I am a small business and every transaction is important to me.
Small business thrive on local traffic and love the service and products they provide, check them out on Saturday, November 30, 2019! It could be the start of something good!
