This morning I wrote my 3rd gratitude post about cherishing my health. After publishing that, I had a colonoscopy. It was OK and I am very gratefully home and and clean. The prep hit me harder than it did in the past and I think that may have something to do with my age but happily, I am clean and well. I made myself go forward with this despite my discomfort because my primary doctor thought it was a good idea and because Mimi Foster strongly recommended it given her on experience. Sometimes it is important to listen to those little voices and now that I am OK I am glad I did it. Have a great afternoon.
Hi Sheila,
The prep for a colonoscopy has to be one of the worst things to do. I did that earlier this month and glad to have the peace of mind of a good report, and that I never have to do that again.
Glad you got a good report and are feeling good.

GOOD FOR YOU! My husband and I wouldn't be in our current situation if we had had colonoscopys when we were supposed to. But we were too busy and life got in the way. And now look :)
SO GLAD you did that. I keep saying, with all the advancements they have made in medicine, they should be able to make the prep easier, right?

The prep is far worse than the procedure. I'm glad it is over for you.

Yes the preparation is worse than the procedure that is what I heard, my attitude is only the good die young so I have a long life ahead of me no need to torture my self with such evasive procedures....:)) seriously glad the results were good...Endre

Morning Sheila.
I'll have one 6 years from now, if I'm still around. Good to know it wasn't anything serious.

Exactly Mimi. I started well and made myself really sick. I am glad it is over. Sheila
Thanks Endre. This is probably the sixth or seventh I have done. The prep was horrible but the results good. TY Sheila
Hi James. I look forward to hearing about yours in the years to come. TY Sheila
Hello Sheila - it's important to pay close attention to those "little voices".

They are a pain in the, well, you know what, but so worth it. The prep is truly obnoxious, but the procedure itself is not a big deal. I am grateful you got a clean bill of health. D

Hi again Debb. I have had many, but this time the prep made me very very ill. The procedure itself was fine and I was clean. No more for me. TY Sheila
It's definintely not a fun thing to have to do but so important!! Glad you got a clean bill of health.

Hi Jeff. It is worse than no fun, but hopefully this will be my last. I was clean. TY Sheila
A colonoscopy is no fun, but it's good to do once in a while to know you're OK. Glad to hear you're all good!
