I was up early and out in the snow. My youngest dog, Chico Todd, had what looked like an abscessed gum on his lower mid mouth. I called the Vet on Saturday but this was the first chance we could get in in. Chico is home now, but he lost three teeth and had a biopsy that should hopefully tell us something next week. I am really scared but there is nothing more I can do except love him and make sure he is as comfortable as I can make him. Just a really long day.
I have two dogs. I can totally relate to this.
Love is what we can give back. There is nothing truer than this world than the love of our dogs. Dog's lives are too short. Their only fault.

We love our pets like they are our children. They are so giving and it so frightening when they are ill.

Sheila Anderson You'll do everything you can, as will your vet. Worrying is human, but try to keep calm - what you're describing could be anything from the little chewed on something not so great & hurt himself to a localize allergic reaction to jsut some kind of infection. Let your vet guide you. Deep breaths.

Health issues our fur buddies experience can certainly give us cause for worry and concern.

I'm sorry and hoping for the best. It's never easy when they have health issues because they can't tell us a thing. We are at the mercy of seeing it and that's not always enough. Prayers and hugs.

Morning again Sheila.
Our Sheldon is such a joy. He's around 7-8 now, he still thinks he's a puppy. Best wishes for Chico
