Consistently Connect With Clients by Effectively Using Your Email Tools

By
Education & Training with Consistent Clients
I think we all understand the importance of connecting with clients. With no real connection there is no relationship. With no relationship, there is no deal. With no deal, there is no income. Now, that may seem harsh but it is a reality. Are you using all the tools you have to consistently connect with your clients? Here is a quick tip: Fully utilize your email signature block to connect with clients. Be sure to include your contact information and an action item to drive traffic to your website or blog.

It is a good idea to refresh your message every couple of weeks and consider playing with font colors to draw interest. If you need instructions on how to do this, simply visit the “help” section of your email program and you should find detailed instructions. Consistent Clients

Right on Rich!  It's all about communication!  Also remember time is of the essence.  Your email prospects expect you to answer immediately.  If the are a prospect, they will go on to the next agent on the web, if you do not respond asap.

I know we can use an auto responder to a property, but how does it look when the client asks a specific question not mentioned in the auto-responder text?  They are nice to have, but do no rely on them as the answer.  It's all about Relationships not robotics.

Thanks Kathleen. I agree on the auto responder - they are a handy tool, but you cannot depend on them to replace the human aspect of helping your client purchase their next home.

You are so right. Communication has to happen over and over and over. Good post. All the best.

Great tip. I should color and change the font in my email signatures. I always notice the emails that have them, never paid attention to the ones that dont. Never realized this until you mentioned it.

Mark - It's definitely easy to overlook it, especially when it's "done". But it's so effective!

My drip email makes this so easy sometimes. I still have a few slide between the cracks. Follow up and communication is and has always been a key.

Lorene - Very true! The email will only take you so far. The phone is the next step! But that's a discussion for another time :)

Laura - aren't drip campaigns great?! They let you make that first initial connection, without taking much time. Thanks for stopping by.
