Oops on a new build

By
Real Estate Agent with Austin Texas Homes

It is important to follow each stage of new builds. Mistakes found early can be easily corrected. The picture above is a great illustration of catching an error early. The window is in the wrong location. It needs to be moved to the left about 10 ft. per the plan. My clients and I discovered this error as we visited the property just after framing.

Good morning Alan Kirkpatrick - you really do need to watch as it progresses.  I found similar in a house I had built.

Good morning Alan. When in new construction, we had a framing inspection to catch the oops! While not common, there were some! Enjoy your day!

Good morning, Alan Kirkpatrick and that's the importance of the buyer checking the construction after the subs have left.... catch it while it's still in the framing stage.
