Time to Cancel? - Yes.

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

The time has come to cancel my listing. In a post back in May, I asked the Active Rain world whether to cancel or not. With a plethora of ideas at hand from the community, we embarked on a new venture.

Now three weeks later, it has come time to call it quits. Despite pouring time and money into the listing; open houses, mass emails, raising the SOC to 4%, and calling a number of agents in the area, we had NO SHOWINGS.

So, since my sellers are not willing to go down in price (which apparently is the reason for no showings), it is time to set it loose.

Fortunately, we have a plan to still keep them in the buyer's seat. We'll see what happens in the continuing saga that is "our current market".

Sorry! From what you have said it looks like price is the factor and until they realize that then I guess cutting them loose is the best.

Brian, sometimes you just have to know when to say "when"

Time is our most valuable asset and they don't seem to realize it.

There is plenty of business out there.

Good luck
