Craig's List Miracle!

Today I had a Craig's List Miracle!  I usually use Craig's List for advertising my real estate listings, but this morning, I decided to use it to help sell my refrigerator as well.  Within an hour, I received a hand full of emails inquiring about it.  One in particular decided to call me and I called her back.  It turns out that she is a new loan officer to the area, actually, she is a local to Humboldt County and I went to high school with her.  She just moved away to Las Vegas and now is back to live up here and raise her new family  (Humboldt County California is a wonderful place to raise a family).

She and her husband came over to where I had the refrigerator stored and we chatted about everything from high school days to what we and our friends were doing, to our new careers.  Well, the miracle is, not only did she and her husband buy the refrigerator, she also is going to give me a referral for a buyer looking in the Eureka area for their first home!  This buyer also happens to be one of our old friends from high school.  What a small world!  I guess my advice is, to put yourself out there and always be nice to people, because you never know what will transpire from the meeting.

That is AWESOME!  I thnk you would have had better odds standing on the street corner with no sign, than to sell a fridge and get a client...CONGRATS!

I'm glad it's working out for you. I've found Craigs List to be a big ol hassle with very little to show for it. They are so picky now with what you say and how you say it.

Good food for thought!  It just shows you that leads are everywhere.

I love Craig's List--it's especially good here in the Bay Area.
