Bowing To The Queen For Real Estate Rocket Science And Other Things More Common Although I do know a rocket scientist in real life this is not a story of a real estate transaction with any form of rocketry involved.  The referenced scientist was a seller of a home I had the honor of  representing.   However the occurrence of finding rocket scientists is actually pretty rare.  Even in Pasadena where the city is home to Caltech California Institute of Technology and its nearby companion of smart thinking and lofty experiences JPL Jet Propulsion Laboratory.  

 

I digress....believe me this is not a discussion on science or any related fields but something  quite down to earth.  Very real.  While scientific theories and discoveries have brought us many everyday benefits, we can also look to common sense when it comes to day-to-day learning, enjoyment and satisfaction in life. 

 

When it comes to showing/sharing common sense in the practice of real estate we don't have to look far to see that there is no shortage of expertise on ActiveRain.  There is certainly one person who stands out in this field of professionals in my opinion.  It's not just lip service, it's reality.  Along with realty and all other things real, she serves a healthy menu of advice and common sense. 

 

Of course, I am speaking of Barbara Todaro.  That's not to say I agree with her each and every time(I can't begin to fathom boiled chicken mind you) but common sense seems to be a regular item on her menu.  A recent post from Barbara had me thinking and soon thereafter this post came to be.  

 

She shares.  She explains. She tell us, like it is. That's my thought. It's real.  It's reality and it's real estate and it's realty.  The eye buys... For the moment.  And a lot longer.
