The Harmonic Convergence - A Good Movie About Baseball (or just about any other sport for that matter)!

There are two things in this life I really enjoy - baseball and a good movie. When these two elements come together, it's magic. The stars and the planets come into alignment - there is a harmonic convergence!

Personal Favorites!

My personal favorites include sports movie's like beautifully made - Field of Dreams, even zanny Major League, equally zanny A League of Their Own, the heart-warming movie The Rookie with Dennis Quade, the magical movie The Natural starring Robert Redford are many of my all-time favorites. I also love other sports movies including Remember the Titans with Denzel Washington and Will Patton, the inspiring movie Hoosiers with Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper, and many more.

Lessons Learned From Ray Kinsella

If you recall the movie Field of Dreams, the main character Ray Kinsella, played by Kevin Costner (and all the ladies went aaah!), hears voices. People thought he was crazy. I happen to believe Ray was a visionary. Other Kinsella qualities I admire include:

• His tenacity
• His risk-taker mentality
• His zeal and belief in his dream
• His refusal to listen to his negative naysayers

Ray followed through with his dream and we know the end of the story.
