It has been awhile since we have to the Arcada Courtyard in Santa Barbara. This is a small shopping square with restaurants. The Arcada was built in the1920's in the Spanish Mission Revival style.
Since our favorite breakfast place in the mountains was unreachable due to road closures and clean up from the recent fire, we had breakfast at Jeanine's restaurant in the Arcada. On of the highlights of the Arcada is a large fountain with bronze turtles as well as live ones. Those little red fish are baby Kois.
"The Turtle's teachings are so beautiful. So very special. It teaches us that everything you are, everything you need and everything you bring to the world is inside you, not external, and you carry it with you, and are not limited to a place, space or time. "
