Speechless Sundays - Reflections of the Holidays

Watching the games today, I noticed the reflection of our Christmas tree in the family room, past the tree on the covered patio and even reflecting the window behind the tree in the family room - beyond it's reflection. I'm all about trees, houses and boat reflection on the water but, thought this was a pretty cool visual that I hadn't noticed before.

Reflections of the Holidays

This is the first year that we have placed the (blue) patio tree by the door (it's usually on the other side of the fireplace on the far wall). I love cooking - to the right in the photo - and being able to see both of the trees lit up in the evenings too.

I love that room, James Dray and, in fact, have been meeting with window installers to have the room 'seasonally' enclosed so I can use it year-round. I love the sounds and the smell of the outdoors and will use that room with a heater out there with a glass (or plexiglass) enclosure.

Reflections whether on water or glass often provide magical effects, Debe. I often like looking at rain soaked streets on rainy nights. The reflections look like sparkling diamonds, rubies and emeralds.

Hi Debe - I hope life is good in your house and neighboord too. I especially hope you have healed and Ray is healthy too.

It's really good to look at things from a different point of view. It's also easy to get used to the idea of doing things the same way. Making a slight change in placement for that tree was a great idea and appears to have given you greater appreciation for the wise decision you made.
