A BoyAnd His Dog While out and about walking it is not uncomon for me to see dogs being walked...especially early mornings when the air seems particularly clean and fresh and oh so new.
That was certainly the case after a bit of overnight rain earlier this week which made things seem extra crisp. Nothing too unusual. Not as many people as usual but one particular image caught my attention.
A boy and his dog. The visual that came to mind was of love, togetherness and of responsibility. Actually lots of different thoughts. Although, not currently, I have had pets in my life: dogs, cats, tropical fish...even a tortoise... I pondered a bit. I found this quote and it summed up the moment. Simply stated. Yet so effective. I think it is the ideal fit. For that moment. For me.
