Active Rain is just playing catch up!

Don't worry! They'll be back stronger than ever! Newbies just hang in there and it will be worth it! From what I understand, Active Rain is upgrading servers. Now, that may not seem like such a big deal but with over 90,000 people and their data it takes a HUGE transference of data!

Let's give our Active Rain Leaders a break and say thank you for all they are doing for us! The method to their madness is that we will run faster and better!

You know how when you clean your desk it looks worse before it gets better? That's all it is.

Don't go away! You'll be missing the boat!

Please, let's all say thank you to them for what they are providing us!

Debra, I figured they were just going through some growing pains.  I hope everyone can deal with all my spelling errors though because I'm not going over to word to check spelling for comments.

Hi Debra ... I am sure what they are doing will result in a better Active Rain.  However, communication is key.

Debra, it seems reasonable that we're going through growing pains and have been since we were at about 78,000. All we ask is to be told what's going on. We'll understand - really.

Deb, I agree & I must say that I'm loving the AR newsletter!  Have a great night!

Marchel, you and I both know it's going to be worth the wait! Growing pains is a great way to describe it.

Marie, It should be so much better! Thanks for being patient.

Steve, I think AR is going to give an explanation soon so watch for it! They really are working to make it better for us! Thanks for being patient.

Compared to Twitter's recent performance, the Rain seems like it is running on twin OC 48s.

Barbara, thank you for those kind words! We'll all still be here when it's all worked out!

Pete...that sounds pretty bad to me. Poor Twitter. I kinda feel like I'm running on OC 48's too!

Debra, Nice of you to remind us all to just give it time.  Once the bugs are worked out, the Rain will be fine.  Have a great night.

You're welcome Bob. I think they know that we are here for them. They have become our rocks...really. The bugs will be exterminated with a little time!

Deb - I agree the leaders are doing their best to make this system better.  I know what it is like with an installation or upgrade sometimes things don't go smooth.

06/10/2008 08:28 PM by Jennifer Fivelsdal, Rhinebeck NY (Keller Williams Realty)

Deb - I know from experience that sometimes an upgade does not go smooth.  I am sure the Guys are doing their best to get things back to normal.

Do you have any inside info of a time frame? I was wondering if this would take a few days, or is it more likely going to be going on for a few weeks?

I just discovered AR about a month ago. And I am enjoy learning about alot. There is so much info, that I am overloaded and cannot put everything into practise just yet.  But, it would be nice to know when the bumps will go down,

Thank you Jenn, you're right. We may get a little annoyed but I can't imagine the stress they must feel. I just want everyone to be very patient. It's all going to be worth it! You're a sweetheart!

Gerard, G-Man...don't give up! This is so exciting. The transformation that's going on is priceless and it's worth waiting for. Soon it will be smooth as a babie's bootie!

So what if I have to refresh 20 times to get past an error screen! What doesn't kill you makes you stronger! So far I think the rain has provided me some tools that make me a stronger agent.

Hey Guys now that's the right attitude! I say we say THANK YOU ACTIVE RAIN!

06/12/2008 04:00 PM by Deb at Brooks Prime Properties

Hi Deb,

Thanks for your post, I would like to use it as a platform to thank the AR powers that be for their hard work. I know from experience that with this many people they are dealing with a daunting amount of data. It is amazing to me that they did not have to shut down completely for a few days. I think there are many large corporations that would like to have these guys running their systems!

06/12/2008 07:39 PM by Richard Schardt - Triad NC Real Estate (Keller Williams Realty)

Richard, I spoke to Brad Andersohn this afternoon and he told me just how incredibly difficult it had been. And, he said we have an amazing Localism about to Launch. Richard, I am so excited about all the wonderful benefits they are bringing us! I wanted for us to say THANK YOU!

You are welcome to use this as the platform...do your magic. Show me!
