Another Home Selling Tip in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida

Here's a quick little home-selling tip:  It will work in any market and might seem obvious to some but unfortunately not all sellers.  One of the biggest parts of a Realtors job is trying to convince their clients that there are alot of myths and half truths in to-days world.  We all believe everything we read on the Internet,  right?

We have to assume that the seller is trying to get the highest price in the least amount of time.  My colleagues who read that statement might roll their eye's because it really becomes a question of the seller motivation.  I would retire if I had a nickle for every time that I have heard the statement. "lets set the price here and see what happens"  Unfortunately, there is too much of that type of activity out there.  Everyone who had bought and sold at least one home thinks they are an expert.  Everyone who thinks real estate is easy gets a license.  Right..

So one tip to sell a home quicker is to repaint.  relatively inexpensive in relation to other upgrades you can do.

Those bright colored walls that you love, could possibly be a turn-off for buyers. An insider tip to selling your home quick is to neutralize your interior by repainting before you put your house on the market. A bright accent or two usually doesn't hurt anything, but save those for decorations that you'll be taking with you. Tan or beige on the walls is a much better choice. A neutral home looks bigger, and you'll lower the chance of offending a potential buyer. Also make sure you open up drapes and blinds to let in a lot of light. That will help set the mood and make the home more inviting!
