Today is a different kind of day filled with mostly ice. It is scary outside because with ice, you don't see the problem but generally experience the pain of it. I have fallen in the past so I am in today. Those who must be out, need to take it slow and worry about driving. I am glad that is no longer my worry. Be careful my friends ice can be deadly.
Hi Sheila,
Ice is one of my greatest fears. One of the times I broke my back was due to falling on ice. The problem with ice is you can be careful and still it grabs you and there's nothing you can do about it. I avoid it like the plague! There's nothing I need to do or anywhere I need to go worth the risk of falling or having an accident.
Enjoy a nice warm day inside with your fur babies.

Hello Shiela, I hope your power lines are under ground. I recall living in Pennsylvania and we would loose power because of ice storms.

We don't often get serious ice here in Sacramento. But, when we do, I'm extra careful. Especially on the roads.

Yes ma'am, been there. In the past, regardless of the weather, I had to go to work. Now, I can stay at home and relax. It's a great feeling

Hi Myrl. I can't remember the last time I saw an ice storm like this one. I was in and will be today until it melts. TY Sheila

Oh, I fell last month on dry ground - I can't imagine the additional momentum I would have gotten, had there been ice on the ground! Glad you stayed in for the ice storm, Sheila - smart lady!
