Columbia SC Real Estate Got Meme’d

So, you may be wondering what a Meme is…well I am too. So you are in like company.

Pretty much the scoop is bloggers ‘Meme’ someone, and then that person has to post some ridiculously useless information about themselves. Well, it seems fun so I’ll comply with Barry Cunningham of Real Estate Radio USA’s Request.

The questions are as follows:

1. Who is your favorite Musical Artist?

I am not your typical person. I listen to very little music. Usually talk radio is playing when I am in the car, or some podcast so I can learn more about Real Estate to better serve my clients. Well, since I am boring, I would have to say my favorite true Musical Artist is Dmitri Shostakovich. Since I was young, I have enjoyed his music. All of his symphonies, especially Symphony #11 in G minor titled, The Year 1905, about the first Russian Revolution of 1905.

2. Who is your favorite artist?

I have never been into visual art. I am more of an auditory art person, so the above applies. Therefore, I have to go with the Dogs Playing Poker.

Wait, were they artists? Who cares, it is good art!

3. Who is your favorite blogger?

Well, that is a toughy. I do not want to step on anyones feet on this one. The first Real Estate Blog I ever read was Bloodhound Blog. I enjoy reading that site immensely. Spirited discussions on Real Estate, and some fun thrown in. Therefore, the big dog himself, Mr. Greg Swann, earns the spot as my favorite blogger. I am sure he is rejoicing knowing this fact. (sorry Barry).

4. If you could meet anyone alive or dead, who would it be? What is so interesting about them?

Talk about tough. Would I love to meet George Washington, yes? Would I love to meet with Napoleon? Yes. They are not the number one person though. I would love to meet Mr. Leonardo DaVinci.

Not only was Mr. DaVinci the reason the DaVinci Code was written, but he was a brilliant man. The fact that there are so many secrets about his life is the most interesting about him.

5. What did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to be many things. The number 1 thing I wanted to be was successful. Not for money’s sake, or status, but just successful at everything I did. I grew up living the saying, “Early is on time, on time is late.” To be successful, I had to put everything forth and hold back nothing. That is exactly how I approach my Columbia SC Real Estate Career.

As for a job, I wanted to be a lawyer…even though my aptitude testing which my parents doled out a ton of money for said I should be a podiatrist….what the heck?

6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know?

In the spirit of the prayer I have been praying that the Supreme Court will realize that we do have the right to bear arms, I have this piece of trivia:

The First First Lady to carry a loaded revolver was Eleanor Roosevelt.

Is that interesting? I don’t know. Does it apply to Columbia SC Real Estate. No. But, it is trivia.

7. IF you could live in any point in history, When would it be and why?

I have different reasons for different times. I wish I could go back and change mistakes I made growing up, definitely. A point in history though would have to be when man invented BBQ. I would bring Mustard and Vinegar based sauces to the middle ages. This world would be better off if our ancestors had had good, South Carolina BBQ.

I am serious!

8. What is the most interesting job you have ever had?

I think it is normal, but most people are flabbergasted. I brokered Tortoises. Yes, tortoises.

That is one of my guys celebrating Christmas a year ago. I still have several tortoises of various types.

There ya have it guys…everything you never wanted to know about yours truly that has nothing to do with Columbia SC Real Estate. Tomorrow, we’ll be back to the normal grind…but we all have to laugh sometimes, right?
