Did You Miss National Spaghetti Day January 4?
Good food is good for mind, body and soul-and that's especially true for spaghetti!
While some folks think spaghetti is any kind of noodles with red sauce, in reality, spaghetti only deserves that name when it is made with the specific long, thin, and cylindrical noodles labeled "spaghetti".
What is great about spaghetti is can be cooked in so many ways.
Some people make their own spaghetti noodles from scratch. Others boil dried noodles. Still others purchase pre-cooked packaged noodles from the deli.
Spaghetti can be served al dente, seasoned with garlic, oregeno, parmesan cheese and/or meat. Sharing a delicious meal of spaghetti with salad or freshly sauteed brocolli makes it a delicious and hearty dish for gatherings big and small.
