Aurora: 2008 All-America City Award WINNER!

Congratulations to Aurora for winning the 2008 All-American City Award. Aurora is one of ten cities in the United States to win the award in 2008. The award is given to communities that demonstrate an ability to address serious challenges with strategies that promote cooperation between private, public and non-profit sectors.

The President of the National Civic League, Gloria Rubio-Cortes, stated 'These communities really give us hope...because they show others what can happen when people roll up their sleeves and work together."

I live and work primarily in Aurora, and I am very proud to do so. If you take a look at Aurora now, it is filled with attractive neighborhoods, new commercial development (i.e., Southlands outdoor shopping mall), recreation (Aurora Reservoir), great open space areas, and MUCH more!. Come take a look!

Sounds great. When can I move? j/k It's good to be proud of your home town, especially when you sell real estate there. But where are the pictures?

Great find Stefan! Always nice to see Aurora climbing her way to the top. I stand in awe of what Aurora has become in last ten years. I am also pretty active with the Aurora Chamber of Commerce and there are some amazing things in store for Aurora in the next few years! Best get ready now!

I agree > I am pleased Aurora has had such a great turn-around. I did not know you are active with the Aurora Chamber of Commerce. Are you in a leads group? If so, which one? I have thought about joining.
