“It is Time for New Construction Again”
Hi Joe,
It has been some time since we have interacted. For the last few years I have been building simple family homes in North Carolina, basically 3-4 a year. My family and I are moving back to Connecticut and want to pick back up where I was a few years ago. If you recall the subdivision where I was building, I still have 4 lots, fortunately no debt. I need to arrange for 2 construction loans as soon as possible. I have actually arranged to use the same subs I used to have, the foundations are just about done and will be hooking up to water and sewer next week. I will be using the same Realtor you hooked me up with many years ago and he is going to get me the estimated values, but my guess is in the high 300K range.
I am overnighting all my documents, you should have everything tomorrow. Is the same lender that we used still doing business, loved working with them, again you hooked me up.
As you know I have always put money into every construction project and plan to with these projects as well. Can we do a $200,000 construction loan on each home?
One more thing, I have already spoken to my agent about looking for another property I can subdivide, I would want to start sooner rather than later. Keep your eyes open for me.
Can’t wait to get back up there. We already have a deposit on our current residence, closing the first week of January. All the best my friend, contact me with what else you may need.
I have worked with this builder for 20 years before he decided to head South, but now it’s time to come home.
I am seeing more new home construction and hopefully that will continue, as the demand is there.
