Hi Everyone! Thank you for all your prayers and good wishes on my
recent excruciating sciatica attack that started two days before
Thanksgiving. It was a mean attack and kept me in round-the-clock
24 hr. pain. My faithful two companions were my heating pad and ice
pack. I am not sure but for the last two days - January 11th and 12th
(today), I am pain free and hoping my nightmare of 46 days is over. I
wish to thank you for your love and support. Also, today is Day 11 on
the Paleo Whole 30 -- a healthy lifestyle eating plan. Doing really well
-- only 19 more days to go before converting to an easier Paleo plan.
Thinking of you and sending prayers and good wishes that you are happy
and well. Jane

Happy Sunday to you, Bob Crane ! Hey, are you also watching the GREEN BAY PACKER GAME? I have had one eye on the game and believe I will shut down my computer and watch. I was born and raised and lived 28 years in the Vince Lombardi city of Green Bay. Current score:
SEA SEAHAWKS 3
GB PACKERS 21
I also keep in mind the quote you chose. I especially keep it in mind as
my family ventures into the political scene today -- haha. I keep reminding
myself, 'Filter, Jane, filter...be kind and keep some of your thoughts to yourself...Be kind."

I was working - but had one ear on the game. My wife is a bigger Packers fan than I am. She kept me posted on the game.
Hoping your thoughts and actions were as Kind today, as I am sure they were.
Good morning, Jane Chaulklin-Schott it's nice to read that you're on the right track with your selection of foods.... "we are what we eat" ..... you want to be healthy....you must eat in a healthy fashion.... you can do it....and you can stay on track with it....I haven't eaten grain in 7 years....I eat clean.... learn what it means to eat clean.... I'm 73 and lift weights....that can't be done unless one is healthy.... I'm cheering for you every day.... praying, too.

Thank you, Barbara Todaro, for all your kindness, support, - -your prayers. Still in Physical Therapy for my Sciatica and my therapist tells me I am getting better. You are certainly an excellent ActiveRain mentor to so many of us and I want to be sure that you know I appreciate and love you for your giving heart and soul. This may sound so silly and perhaps simple, however, I just feel 'God is watching. '
Morning Jane.
I'm a big believer in the Law of Attraction, so my favorite one today was by Earl.

And I am also a 'big believer in the Law of Attraction,' James Dray. Also, Earl Nightingale has been an old, old favorite of many years: LEAD the FIELD and The Strangest Secret.
Good morning Jane. Weather not so bad in Chicago for this time of year. Possibly mid 40's tomorrow! As for my favorite today:
"Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence."

Happy Thursday, January 16th, 2020 to my Chicago friend. I see both Chicago and Orlando have sunshine today. There is a little bit of a difference, Wayne Martin , Orlando is 81 degrees and weather report indicates Chicago is currently 23 degrees. As you remember from your Florida days, this is the great time of the year in Florida. Have a great weekend.
Hello Jane - I am glad to hear you are feeling better and hope that good health continues for you. The quotes you include seem to go so well with your theme. This one is a favorite of mine from your selection:
When you have the choice between being right and being kind, just choose kind." ~Wayne Dyer

The quote you chose is one I test myself on here and there in my life. I find it so relaxing and peaceful to - in certain situations, back off and choose kindness and gentleness. I have enough astrological Scorpio in me that I do love debates and discussing thoroughly certain subjects...one of course, the current political scene. Hahaha ~ I now find I make a healthier and happier choice - kindness and dropping the subject, no matter how wrong I believe the other is -- hahaha ~ I find I enjoy some fun in challenging myself, Michael Jacobs.
Good for you on the Paleo eating plan, I would be interested in hearing about what your daily meals are. I am glad to hear that you have been pain-free for the past couple of days and I hope that will continue.

"How people treat you is their Karma, how you react is yours."
yup yup yup!
and as Jupiter nears your Sun . . . the diet is good and the healing is even better. LOL I know you'll get that. (expansion)
"How people treat you is their Karma, how you react is yours." I like that one, Jane.
Hello Jane, You have some of my great people in your quotes today. Hill can never go wrong with.
I love the Wayne Dwyer quote - it isn't a life sentence - I know some people who need to accept that they made mistakes but they can and have redeemed themselves by learning and moving forward.
