Saturday morning in Orlando and gorgeous day - sun is shining brightly, blue
skies, and perfect day for a run -- temperature 71º with a high prediction of
78º. Day 17 of my Paleo Whole 30 Plan, my Sciatica is clearing up and both
my wonderful Physical Therapist and I are surviving. I am a bookworm and
although I love certain active sports (e.g. tennis), I have always hated exercise
and gyms... Yes, I have tried. Well, my physical therapist has a lot of different
ideas and the few times each week when we meet, she has me exercising like
there is no tomorrow :) And no, while we have not got to jumping jacks yet,
we are pretty close.
Sort of a fun morning as we drive over to a Relay Race where one of my
daughters will do her best to run her 6 miles of the race. Thankful it is my
daughter in that race and not me. I also marvel when I think of ActiveRain
Barbara Todaro -- she is so successful and works faithfully at diet and
exercise. It is unbelievable her efforts and success -- be it exercise, diet and
weight/body fat control. Oh, and I almost forgot the Barbells. There is a
terrific picture of Barbara in the gym lifting and holding the heavy barbells.
Fantastic, Barbara! You are a great mentor and example.
Well, off to the races and happy it is not me running those 6 miles. Have a
great weekend. ~ Jane

"It's a terrible thing, I think in life to wait until you're ready. I have this

There is only now. And you may as well do it now. Generally speaking, now

in which we think; for we really do live in a world of our own thoughts."
