In my small town and in my small house there is magic in the night. Over the years I have installed all kinds of lights: those that come on at dusk, those that light up the trees and those that come on with doggie motion. My yard is magical in the summer but also magical every night throughout the year. My neighbors have noticed and that awareness has made my joy even greater, but the real happiness is in seeing the moving and twinkling lights in the magic of the night.

Like you I love lights.  I have solar lights around the fencing on our deck, and I look forward to dusk when they begin to glow.  And I also have them in the flower pots on the deck, and yes, it is magical.  I am even thinking of getting more...LOL A

I love the stars at our Florida home and beinf so close to the ocean we have less light to obscure them. I use an app called Star Walk on my phone that shows me what I am seeing.

I don't like a lot of light outside, because I like to enjoy the stars.  I love to sit on my deck at dusk and watch the bats eating insects.  And I love the stars.  But for when I do need some light out there I like them to be pretty lights.
