As with most areas of the country, Treasure Valley is experiencing a buyer's market in real estate. We are seeing increased sales every month year to date. Sales up 11% in May over April.  Average cost of a home sold in May was $244,282, a decrease of 2% from April and a decrease of 14% from a year ago. New construction inventory is down, resale inventory is up.

This is an excellent time for buyers to purchase a home, either as a residence or for investment.  We are seeing a great deal of buyer activity.  However, the market is never static and these market conditions, combined with lower interest rates will not remain for the long term.  There are gains to be made for buyers who purchase now or in the very near future.
