Throwback Thursday: Cold Spring Canyon Arch Bridge-- Above the Fog!

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Napa Consultants DRE00893924

Yesterday morning we were up very early, and after getting a bit of work done we decided to drive to the wine country for some great coffee and an almond croissant for Ron. Pictured above is the Cold Spring Canyon Arch Bridge as we were driving over it, you can see the thick fog over the canyon on the right of the photo..

Pictured above is a shot of the bridge taken from the canyon floor. It is one of the highest arch bridges in the. US, and it highest point is 400 feet above the canyon floor. It connects Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez.

Happy Thursday!

That's an amazing bridge, Alexandra. Maybe one day I'll get to drive across it. And shame on you... now you'll have me craving an almond croissant for at least the rest of the morning! Hope Ron enjoyed his.

Hello Alexandra and Ron - I am not a big fan of bridges for travel purposes but can and do appreciate their beauty and purpose.

Barbara Todaro Bridges are fascinating!  Just their very purpose of getting you from one place to another across what may have been impassable.  I also think of them in relationships, we build bridges also.  A

Kathy Streib I love this bridge.  We have driven down to its footings.  This bridge shortened the time between Santa Ynez and Santa Barbara.  Those who have a bridge phobia can take the Stagecoach Road and continue on the winding road, which has recently been repaved.  It is a favorite of the motorcycle afficianados. Beth Atalay Bridges are one of my favorite architectural edifices.  In our office, I have the original blueprint my father drew of a bridge that he created for an assignment at the Lyon, France, school of Civil engineering.  And I heartily agree, it is a symbol of spiritual dimensions.  When were told that we may have to evacuate,  that was one of the items I wanted to take...A

Eva B. Liland Century 21 Doug Anderson I love our Farmer's Market and miss it only when we are out of town.  And we were heading to Baker's Table when the owner Amy knows how to bake the authentic croissant and almond croissant, and her baguettes and other delights are magnificent. A

Wow, that arched bridge reminds of the Auburn Dam Bridge, about 40 miles from my home.  The distance to the ground is substantial.
