Speechless Sundays - Not So Private Bath
Little Miss Emma Belle loves water. I often find her in the kitchen sink or sitting in Ray's sink in the bathroom while I'm brushing my teeth at my sink. She peeks around the open shower and I'm just waiting for the day she decides to come on in and join me!
Do you mind drawing a bath for me?

How adorable, Debe. My Mr. Marlow shows no interest whatsoever in water. I did have an Abyssian cat many years ago who would have jumped into the bath tub with me if allowed. And he was forever playing with water when a faucet was on.

I have a cat who really hangs out when I take a bath. He appears to want to share the bath with me. I've not actually tried it however. I fear once in the water he'd change his mind, and the chaos that would ensue while I try getting us both safely out of the tub, might involve my pulling the plumbing out of the wall!

I should also add, that like Alexandra mentions in her #16 comment, I also had a cat who used the toilet without being taught. He actually would try to flush it as well, but didn't have the strength to actully work the handle.

We have a fountain also and I think we've sold several for the company - our friends are fascinated by it and have had to have one for their kitties! One of my dogs loves the fountain too - it's so cute!

Me either, George Souto but, we certainly are learning that we have to be on our toes when it comes for having the water flowing for her when she demands it! LOL
If a drop of water touched Charlotte, she was not going to stay for a second one! I've never been around one that liked it so much and we are loving watching her antics - she's a real trip! We still have a bit of 'socializing' to do but, she's come a very long way so far, Nina Hollander.

Oh, I've heard of that and it cracks me up! Our neighbors had one that did that and when we were at their house, they always reminded us that there may be kitty poo or pee in the toilet - she couldn't flush the toilet! That cat never used her litter box and she only used the guest toilet on the main level.

OMG, I had to read your comment to Ray, Myrl Jeffcoat - we both laughed so hard, we cried! Oh, the minds-eye-view of that!
As I mentioned to Alexandra, our neighbor's kitty did the same thing and they were forever 'warning' us to excuse anything we may find in the guest bath as "Gracie hasn't learned to flush the toilet yet!"

Thank you so much, Patricia! The magazine that was doing the photo shoot took this the Friday before Ray went to Denver. When they asked me to select the picture for the cover, this is the one I chose. My vote didn't count - they chose one of just me and I hated that picture!! LOL I actually had this put on canvas for him for Christmas since it didn't make the cover of the magazine.
And, yes, Miss Emma has REALLY made a massive splash in our lives - she is the most unique cat I've ever been around - very intelligent and her own 'person,' for sure!
