Are You Fulfilling Your New Year Resolutions?
When 2020 found way to this New Year, I vowed to take on several things I had been neglecting. These tasks included painting and redoing a bedroom in my home. And, especially, they included taking care of my eyes. A few years back I had seen an ophthalmologist because I had suddenly began seeing halos. And, my vision seemed to degrade rather suddenly! During the eye exam, the doctor told me things would get better. True to his words, the halos disappeared after a few days. However because of a vitreous detachment he hadn’t told me about at the time, I have had a few more episodes with the halos, and my vision as far as depth of field, isn’t quite the same.
A couple weeks ago, I managed to procure an appointment to see another ophthalmologist who I have a little more confidence in. He discovered cataracts in both my eyes, with one being significant. I am on the docket to have that taken care of in a few weeks.
Last week, I went to see the dentist, and unloaded a few bucks. The only tooth remaining in my mouth with a filling remaining, had cracked. It needed work which included a crown! It’s been repaired now.
All in all, I’m making good progress while working through my list of things to do! The bedroom is also mostly painted. At my age, I find what I use to do in 4 hours takes a couple days now, and it takes much more heavy breathing!
So, how is your week shaping up? And, especially, are you fulfilling your New Year Resolutions?
