It’s been a busy month for new listings in Hubbard Woods. There were many more than this but the others were re-listings of homes that had been on the market last year.

As you can see in the above closed homes, four of the homes sold relatively quickly and close to asking price. This is an improvement over past months where most homes were on for long periods of time and the ratio of list to sell price was low. More sellers are beginning to understand the dynamics of our real estate market and are pricing their homes for sale more competitively. That’s the only way to sell a home in the North Shore market.
HUBBARD WOODS LOCAL NEWS
Spirit Elephant finally opened in January. In case you don't know, it's Winnetka's newest 
restaurant offering creative and different vegan food. I've yet to try it (I'm vegetarian but not vegan) and I'm glad to see that it's been busy every time I've driven by. The interior design is lush and inviting.
