In an effort to be knowledgeable of our current market I weekly pull the market statistics in Watertown, Belmont, Arlington, Newton, Waltham, Brighton and Allston. Below are the market statistics in Brighton, Massachusetts for Single Families, Condominiums and Multi-Families.

As you can see, from last year to this year there has been substantial depreciation in every sector of the market: Single Families, Condominiums and Multi-Families. Singles have taken the biggest "hit" with only 4 sales at a whopping -$136,360 depreciation.

Know Your Market: Brighton, Massachusetts

All in all, the market here in Brighton has had a drop from the high prices of 2004-2005. There are still plenty of people selling and buying though, as Boston never really loses its saleability. I will continue to post these market statistics and I hope that you find them useful and informative.

If you'd like me to email you the weekly market statistics for a certain town, please email me at mark.madden@commonmoves.com and I will be sure to send you my excel sheets when I create them.
