This is such a beautiful message. Wonder why we are a society hell-bent on playing the Blame Game? It's certainly not worthwhile, and further, it solves absolutely nothing.

I too have never heard this passage before. I have pondered the blame game and have never found a posistive result for being a victim, Alexandra...

Sheila Anderson When I heard the words, blame, shame and regret, I turn away from this type of conversation. Every moment is SO precious, and we want to appreciate and love instead. A
Amen.
Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS Blame always feels heavy and yucky. I would rather praise and love. A

Roy Kelley indeed we agree, which is why we leave a conversation centered on stuff like that ASAP. A

Hi Ron and Alexandra Seigel - I sometimes wonder if the blame game comes from being an ego-centric society. I say that because of what I see on social media.
If our egos get bruised we think the fix is to blame someone or something else.
The glass is always full to me because I will use the situation as a learning experience and make the adjustment. Thich Knat Hanh got it right!

Sheri Sperry - MCNE® Thank you for your comment, and we agree. I always dislike the feeling of having to walk on eggshells around certain people, it seems to me, that so many have become over sensitive, and find so many reason to have something to whine about...
We also don't know why people act irrationally at times. Even the loss of a pet can create a distress in a person so empathy and understanding versus anger can create a connection not a separation.

Joe Pryor we agree empathy is a great solution, but sometimes buttons are pushed too hard...A
Hi Ron and Alexandra- I can see why you love this quote. It is so easy to blame others or things. We should try compassion and understanding.

Kathy Streib or you can blame it on the bossa nova...some old song that my parents listened to. LOL A
Blaming always has us looking at external forces for problems, rather than assessing our part in it. When that occurs we can do little to create change which can benefit things.
Hello Alexandra and Ron - that's an interesting quote. There is much meaning there... I especially like your post title which puts another spin on it as well.
Good morning, Alexandra... great picture and even greater advice. Playing the blame game doesn't get one anywhere. Although it often seems to be a "natural" reaction on the part of many people.
Wow, I am so impress with this blog and it makes sense and more people should see this one.
I am currently taking vegetable gardening classes so this quote was definitely one I can relate to. Blaming others only makes the situation worse.
Hope your day was/is wonderful!
Good morning, Ron and Alexandra Seigel (A).... I'll be looking for an ebook from the author of that message.... Blaming has no positie effect....
