Did you ever send an email and immediately want it back. I did this last night. When I re-read it this morning I was sorry I sent it but alas it is too late. I am hoping that the recipient gives me credit for who they know I am. Sometimes the moment takes over and I say things I wish I had not. Funny it wasn't mean it was just telling. Enjoy your day.
Sheila,
We have been there with family that caused a big feud, and a gigantic misunderstanding...and they did not want to hear what really was going on. They wanted to hang on to their position... So now, we both read and reread what we write, mostly very bland stuff...LOL A

I must admit, I have never done that, Sheila. I read and reread and reread my emails before I hit the send button. I've heard too many horror stories about people who weren't so careful so now I probably over-compensate.

I am generally careful as well Nina but I was pretty fortcoming yesterday and probably should not have been. TY Sheila
Well it sounds as if you were just quite honest about something, and wish you'd been a bit more cautious about sharing the information. If you don't want to clarify or modify the message - hopefully the other person knows you well enough to understand.

Hi Sheila:
Well, I have made a few goofs in the past but now try to always re-read a couple of times before sending. Hope the recipient of your email was understanding.

Knowing you it couldn't have been that bad and hopefully there is understanding of the other person.

Emails have a way of getting into mischief sometimes. I do know when I am heated up over something, and write an email, I let it sit and mellow for awhile before hitting the send button. That tactic works sometimes. . .Sometimes, it doesn't!

That's true Myrl. This was just a strong expression. In retrospect I wish I hadn't been as forthright as I was. TY Sheila
Hi Sheila- you know what...we've all been there. And I know that you feel badly about it. It will pass.

Morning Sheila.
It all depends on the recipient, and of course what was written.
