Good morning Paul. Learn from the past. Apply what you learned in the present. Then the future will take care of itself. Enjoy your day!

That is just so true, Paul, now that I've thought about. Being mindful of this would help many change their thoughts about past, present and future.

Hello Paul - I am not sure if this is the exact quote I recall hearing/seeing in the past but the words definitely make sense.

I know someone who is totally living in the past and very negative about the present and future. It's very discouraging. I want to smack him like Cher did in Moonstruck and say "SNAP OUTTA IT!"

It's hard to understand it, but negativity is a like a big ole sore that won't heal. The only cure is to make a big shift in thinking - to new and positive thoughts, and as quickly as possible. I really can't handle being around folks who always see life as a struggle. It must be exhausting.

Hi Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - Unfortunately, this quote is a formula for unhappy people.  All they have to do is the complete opposite and they will make positive changes in their life.

Not this girl!  But I do know some folks that are always dredging up their past and thus having the present moment in anger, distrust, you name it. I have often said - why don't you just make up a new story that makes you feel good......

Morning Paul.

There is nothing I can do about the past, other than to learn from it, not make the same decision.  Now are far as the future, that is up to someone we will all see, sooner or later

Hi Paul,
Very insightful quote! I try to use the past to reminisce about fond memories and to learn lessons. The present is all we ever have. It is ALWAYS now and that's what will determine the future.  We might as well enjoy it!
