The Significance Of Dates
We understand some dates carry more importance than others at times.
Birthdays. Anniversaries. Holidays. Certain other milestone events as well. Although, February 29 comes just every fourth year, I wonder about the significance of this particular event that is an accumulation of the days and hours that are added to make things align in our calendar.
A quick look at events in history brings forth some happy as well as sad moments. I look back into my own personal history and if there were any significant events occurring on February 29 I don't recall...but just in case...I remain ready.
When it comes to ActiveRain, this is my third leap day I am experiencing. In 2012, I wrote a post with a list of 29 Reasons yet four years later in 2016, it was just another day. Another market report about a Pasadena condo community which was fairly common in those days(and years). And that's life, right?
Business as usual along with welcoming the moments that become memories. Sometimes when you least expect it. Happy February 29. Happy Saturday. Enjoy each day. Celebrate the moments.
