GPS is one of the great wonders of modern technology. There is no way I'd practice Real Estate without it. You don't even have to purchase a unit for your car now! My GPS is right on my cell phone. It sure takes the guess work out of where I'm going. Nothing is perfect and there have been a couple to times its been incorrect. But for the majority of the time its been dead on. GPS has made it easier for me to locate sellers homes and to take buyers on tours. When you live in a rurual area like Northeastern Ohio and the roads and vacant land parcels intertwine with each other its very important to be able to accurately navigate the country side.
Hi Jackie;
The service of a GPS is a great thing, thuis service save time and gas.
Jackie...in most cases I have to agree with you...but a few weeks ago heading back from Baltimore, my GPS decided that I needed to take a 20 minute detour off I-95 onto back roads only to pop back onto 95 further south than I was before...my husband thought the gps was being "hacked" by the cute little seafood place that we found on our little detour...;)
Hi Jackie ... For the most part it's a good thing. However, on several occasions it has insisted on taking me down a road that has not been there for years. However, it is excellent at calculating a new route when you ignore its instructions.
I really like it when a road in anarea you do not know gets blocked for whatecver reason and you do not know how to navigate around it
Love my Garmin...My only complaint is that it calculates the most direct route, not necessarily the quickest...But, it recalculates in short order.
GPS is so great. I use it all the time. I am terrible with directions otherwise.
