In March, we celebrate Mermaid Month at Ventura Harbor Village. All month long, several mermaid-related events take place in the village. treasure-hunting, a mermaid parade, and a themed escape room created specifically for Mermaid Month. But if you want to see one of these beautiful creatures live, you need to come to one of the Ventura Mermaid Meet and Greet 2020 events scheduled this month.

Ventura Mermaid Meet and Greet 2020
Ariel may be the most famous mermaid, but her friends make an appearance at the Harbor Village's Mermaid Meet & Greet. Talk to them and pose for a picture anytime between 1 pm and 4 pm this Saturday, March 7th. Try on a tail of your own at a Mermaid selfie station. Macaroni Kid Adventure hosts a free crafts project for the kids. The Surfer Joe Band plays live beach music all afternoon.
Watch artist Tina Obrien create a beautiful art project right before your eyes in front of the Mermaid Gallery. Then, visit Coastal Cone for a Fishzookie. While you treat yourself to this delicious ice cream goodness, watch Randall Williams create a masterpiece in chalk on the sidewalk nearby. Finally, Le Petit's very own chef Jean-Luc creates a mermaid ice sculpture between 3 pm and 4 pm to close out the day's events.
In addition to all that, get your face painted. Visit a tarot reader to have your cards or seashells read. Don't forget to stop in to the various shops in the village for mermaid specials going on all month long. It's loads of fun for children of all ages to enjoy.
