Last night we were supposed to switch to Daylight Saving Time (yes, it's saving... not savings). Push the clock ahead an hour... we lost an hour of sleep.
I, of course, had showings with a buyer of mine, scheduled for first thing this morning. There was always a chance that some people, either my buyer, or one of the listing agents meeting us, would forget about the time change... and all 'heck' would break lose as we knocked on the door of a property... at what the sellers thought... was an hour early.
Nothing like showing up early on a Sunday morning... right?
I was smart enough... (no, really!) to try to pre-empt this problem. I called and texted my buyers... "Don't forget to set your clocks forward tonight... so that you make our 9:00a.m. showing at the right time".
I was also smart enough (hey!) to remind the listing agents of the same thing.
I had a fifty-fifty chance that our showings would be timely this morning. Any bets on what happened this morning?
