When I left my house this morning, Gas for Unleaded was $1.85 per gallon. I was in the wrong lane to pull over, so I thought I would wait until I came home. Lucky for me, prices dropped to $1.82. Sometimes, it pays to wait!

The weathermen were wrong about having heavy rain all week. Yesterday and today we had blue sky and puffy, white clouds.
While waiting for the light to change, my mind was on thunderclouds, hail, and wind. March, April, May can bring in storms. Now is good time to make sure your trees don't need trimming, your roofs and gutters are in good shape, and that your home and auto insurance is paid and that you have adequate coverage. No. The sky isn't falling. This is the front door to the Drug Store. However, when you start seeing signs you never saw before, be aware. Be vigilant. Be careful. As I went to the RX counter, lots of shelves were empty and signs posted everywhere. I think I was the only customer. I thought to myself, what about the people with common colds, allergies, kids who always have runny noses? What about the people that need Kleenex because their hearts are broken and they need to cry? What will happen to the people with obsessive-compulsive disorders? No. I don't say panic. I don't believe in hoarding. But I can't ignore what's going on and pretend it isn't happening. Stay informed. Find credible resources, such as the Center for Disease Control.
I have to say, I do believe Jose Marti was right, "The first duty of man, is to think for himself."
