Tasting Room Closed at Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland

One of our favorite local breweries is Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland. Sadly, they have decided to close their tasting room as an effort to protect their employees during the coronavirus pandemic.

In light of the CDC’s request that employers do everything possible to slow the spread of COVID-19, Flying Dog has made the decision to close our tasting room and cancel all events at the brewery. The safety of our employees and community is our top priority and we will share additional updates as we are able. https://bit.ly/2IGLgD3

I think we'll be experiencing most restaurants and many other types of venues closing until the dust settles.... Roy Kelley

Good morning, Roy... I suspect we'll be seeing more of these closings in the next few weeks to come.

Roy,

Our Monday Tai Chi/Qigong class has been canceled also.  We saw our teacher and his wife at the Farmers Market like we always do.  For the past two month, we have working on strengthening our immune system doing the moves.  Happily, we have a great video to follow and continue the practice.  A

It is sad to see the world closing down and everyone staying inside their homes, I hope this will pass soon.

Yes Roy, it's understandable about the many closings we are now seeing. It's going to be a little different around town for a while...

Roy, I get emails from two different liquor stores, and both have canceled tastings as well.   A sign of the times.

We are seeing quite a number of our Sacramento events cancelled or closing down.  I am avoiding crowds more.  My grandson is in town visiting this week.  I do have family over for meals, etc., but otherwise that's about it, other than necessary trips to the grocery store.

Hello Roy,  It will get worst before better.  Restuarants in New York must close by 8 tonight and remain close but they can stay open for carry out or delivery and now the governor just said liquor can be deliver also since bars will be close to sell off there stock.
