Hey and welcome to my blog! I just want to talk today about why my hometown, Berea, KY, is such a great place to live, work and raise a family. I have lived in Berea since I was 14 and was born and raised in Madison County. There is not another place anywhere that I would want to call home! We have beautiful mountain views, great rivers and lakes, rolling countryside and the friendliest neighbors around! Come visit us during our craft festivals throughout the year,or attend our famous Spoonbread festival every year in September. Stay awhile in our many wonderful hotels, lodges and bed and breakfasts, and for a real treat stay a night in the newly remodeled and now 4 star rated historic Boone Tavern Inn and restaurant. What a treat to stay in this beautiful place with so much history!
After you visit we're sure you'll never want to leave, so please call me so I can help you take advantage of our wonderful buyers market. In Berea you will find many opportunities to purchase the home of your dreams, whether it is a starter home, a second home, a retirement home or an investment property. We have acres and acres of beatiful land available, wonderful subdivisions and planned communities, and great opportunities to purchase farms or land for your own use.
We are a great and diverse community with world renowned Berea College as our centerpiece. It's beautiful campus sits in the middle of town and welcomes students and visiting professors and dignitaries from around the world. We are just a short drive from Eastern Kentucky University, The University of Kentucky, Transylvania University, and many other fine learning institutions are just a short drive up or down I-75, as Berea is centrally located in the heart of Kentucky along the interstate, and is literally minutes from everything!
We have many wonderful employment opportunities with a large industrial park providing manufacturing jobs to thousands thru varied companies. Our arts and crafts community provides work to local artists and students, and there are many hundreds of job opportunities from retail to service to industrial to farm and agricultural opportunities.
Berea has wonderful schools and daycares, a colorful and diverse religious and church community and we are very supportive of our local clubs and civic organizations. Parents and guardians support our local PTO's, sports and academic teams, and youth organizations throughout the community.
I want to personally invite you to come visit my home town! Stay awhile or stay forever, Berea will always be in your heart!
