Whoops! What happened to Spring in North Dakota. All of a sudden we are back into the teens for temperatures and we are getting covered with snow... again. Actually this is pretty much the norm for North Dakota at this time of year. You just never know if the temps are going to be in the 50's, as we were a few days ago, or if we are going to have a Spring blizzard. About the only "for sure" I can give you is that it won't be in the 80's and folks won't be out with the lawn mowers (not until April and even then it would be a freak thing to be in the 80's). I do remember an incredible April 1st blizzard as if it were yesterday but it was actually 20 years ago. It was March 30th and I had business half way across the State. The weather was unseasonably warm, in the upper 60's, so I drove my mini-motor-home with the intent to stay in it for two evenings as I was going to make a couple of overnight stays along the way. The first night all went well. On the second day warnings went up about a "freak" blizzard. All went well (clear sailing) until I was about 20 miles from my destination, my fiance's home in Minot ND. In those 20 miles I went from sunny skies and no snow to over two feet of snow falling as if God himself was dropping buckets of snow upon the area. It was so bad that Carol and her family, whom were about six blocks from their home attending a quilt action, actually got stuck at the auction and could not get home because of the super sudden storm and unprecedented snowfall. Carol did actually walk up the steep hill between the auction site and her home to be with her fiancee (me) but I believe her folks and many others had to stay at the auditorium until emergency vehicles could get them home.
Morning Bob.
It's nice in NW Arkansas, temps in the mid to upper 50's. By Wednesday mid to upper 60's. It's a great day

Good morning Bob. Sometimes you cannot expect the unexpected but must be ready to deal with it none the less. Weather is a prime example. Be an adapter! Enjoy your day!

James Dray I've loved spring in AR since I was a kid and we would visit Uncle Melvin and Aunt Maxine for Easter. Some day you can expect me and my camper to pull up to your door to say Hi!
I've got no choice but to adapt Wayne Martin . These spring storms may not be as hard to deal with as the unexpected spring like days we often get in March.
Spring never comes early to ND Nina Hollander . In fact sometimes it seems we jump right into summer (if you can consider winter lasting to mid April). You have no idea how I long to move to NC and enjoy your warmth .
