"Learn from yesterday. Live for today.
Hope for tomorrow. The important thing
is not to stop questioning."
---Albert Einstein
Time. As I ponder away, the most important rational thought I can think of about time is that time is the only form of wealth that can be shared equally. Benjamin Franklin said, "Do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."
Was Christmas Day really only two months and 22 days ago? Oh, the hopes and cheers and all the good wishes. Time cannot be replaced. Maybe that's why people can't let go of the past or they hope for a better tomorrow? To fritter away time is dangerous to our health and well-being. And is it fair to others to waste time? Or to yourself?
Let us not be haunted by Christmas past but to live with purpose.... in moderation and cleanliness, of course. Perhaps, more focus needs to be on strengthening our minds instead of waiting for the next big gun (muscle), next milestone or celebration? A date on the calendar does not mean anything is guaranteed. Waste not, want not... Proverbs: Some say the earliest origin was 1576. Age, is it really just a number? What are we waiting for?
It has been said by some, faith moves mountains. But doesn't it take human interaction, participation, being active, a duty to be responsible to find solutions to problems too? I have never found complacency to work. There is evidence that factors of success are found in believing, having confidence, spending time wisely without wasting time; having patience, understanding, guiding, sharing, and most of all taking action. Is there a chance?
Chance in the plural speaks of hope, an opportunity or possibility.
